Luc de Groot, fishing guide on the river
I am Luc de Groot and I guide in the Dutch delta: the Hollands Diep, the Haringvliet, the Biesbosch and the large rivers around Dordrecht. Almost all my fishing days are river days, with pike in flowing water as my specialism. Depending on the season, we also target zander, perch and asp.
On a river, fish move with the current, the water level and the clarity. That is why I teach you where to look and why the fish hold there. With Garmin LiveScope, I show what happens below the boat at every spot and how to read that image.
I studied biology at Wageningen University & Research. That background helps me connect behavior, conditions and technique in a clear way.

About Luc
As a predator fishing guide, I enjoy sharing what I have learned on the rivers. I fish almost exclusively in the Dutch delta, with river pike as my specialism. Depending on the season, we also target zander, perch and asp.
I explain why fish hold in a particular spot and use Garmin LiveScope to show what happens below the boat. Beginners get the basics step by step, while experienced anglers receive more detail and room for their own approach.
